if you’re missing journal entries 1-5, please standby. they are on the despondency blog and i’m trying to get away from that darkness. i’ll be working on migrating them over here in the coming weeks. i won’t link to it here, but feel free to reach out. it’s september 13, 2023. i’m lying in bed. i just fell asleep while watching a documentary about aliens on the history channel. i never watch tv. i just needed something to numb my mind. i got a lot done today. and i’m exhausted. i’m mentally burnt out. and i don’t think i can take anymore. not that i’m going to run into traffic, but i’m just… numb. i’ve shut down entirely. i woke up while the investigator on the history channel was trying to figure out whether the 3 red lights in the sky was an alien invasion or a flare taped to a weather balloon. my mind is burnt out today because i finally made the leap. i went to the dmv. i went to HR. i vomited in the bathroom and i nervously told my coworkers “just some light...
